My reading list grows exponentially. Everytime I read a book, it'll mention three other books I feel I have to read. It's like a particularly relentless series of pop-up ads.

Short and Sweet

I'm still laughing over this coversation I had with K1 the other day on the way to school.

K1: Quit driving like a maniac. I can't draw when you drive too fast.
Me: Zip it. We're late. What're ya drawing?
K1: Mrs. Mickey
Me: You mean Minnie Mouse?
K1: Uh. Nooo. Mickey's mom. Duh.
Me: Are you drawing Mr. Mickey too? You know - Mickey's dad??
K1: No. He's dead.
Me: Oh?
K1: Yeah. It was a bloody death.
Me: Um. That's a little morbid.
K1: He was in a circus performance when a lion got angry with him and ate him. All in one bite.
Me: Hmmm...
K1: But, it's all good cause the other lions loved Mr. Mickey, so they ate the horrible lion who ate Mr. Mickey.

Right. I'm left speechless still. Kids say the darndest things...uh...yeah.

LOL. That's great! Kids are hilarious.
One time when E-man was 3 (he's 5 now) he would sneak from the pantry and run into the master bedroom, locking himself in.
"Evan! Evan, unlock the door! Damn it, Evan unlock the flipping door."
By the time he finally opened the door, the entire room smelled precariously of bacon. Hmm...odd...until my eyes fell across the empty package of "Beggin' Strips" lying on the bed. Yep. My boy was eating the dog's bacon treats. lol I will never let him live that down.

Wow! That's my granddaughter! She has always been very creative! Hhhmmmm, who does she take after?

K1 sounds a lot like my brother, heh. I was the one drawing unicorns and happy animals, and he was the one drawing robots destroying civilization. LOL.

I agree with Catherine! I'd love to see what Disney did with it!

When you get a moment, could you pop by my blog and let me know where you heard about the Whoops! Blogfest? I'd promised a prize to my best shout-out helper, but I can't figure out who to thank. Gracias!
